Pros

Better people. Less rank discrimination, meaning that whether you're an associate or a Director you can still have a voice and carve your own path.

Cons

As with most public accounting firms, the busy seasons have longer hours. You have to track your time rather maticulously. And everything you do has a bureaucratic process to go through.

Pros

Crowe is a great company to work for. It has excellent leadership at the top, and I am also fortunate to have an amazing Manager and Team Lead, both of whom are highly supportive and patient, helping me to learn and grow every step of the way. The firm is very employee-friendly without sacrificing one single ounce of client focus. For example, a generous PTO and paid time off policy, including extra holiday days sprinkled in as rewards (we had 3 company-paid days off for July 4th and Thanksgiving!), working from home and lack of micromanagement all motivate me to ensure I do the best job possible for company, clients and colleagues, and I feel I have been awarded the tools, freedom and energy to do so. A specific example is how being able to work from home opens up a lot of opportunities for employees that might not otherwise function as well in a traditional office environment, like aging employees, who can personalize the volume of meetings or the size of the screen allowing you to hear and see far better than if you were sitting in a room where those things are chosen for you, all of which enables you to fully engage and participate. Imagine all the other opportunities it affords people who might not otherwise be able to function as well in that traditional office environment. Just another example of how forward-thinking this firm is. But for those that prefer the traditional office environment or whose job requires it, that is there for you as well. Despite all these different options, I feel there is a really good team environment fostered here, with lots of diversity, yet everyone working together toward a common goal and although a large company, it feels small and personal. They have a simple and clear Measure What Matters plan that helps you engage with your coach and chart where you want to go with your career. I've been working for over 30 years and have been at Crowe for a year now. Hands down, it's the best company I have ever worked for and the best decision I made in my professional life was coming here.

Cons

I can't think of any cons.
