Inland Operations Coordinator
Pros
Crowley was good in the beginning. The benefits are good. Pay is good.
Cons
No support from management. No one is held accountable for their actions. Training is sink or swim in some departments. If they can find a spot over seas for your job you are replaceable. If you do not have a connection you do not really get noticed or appreciated. Everyone is overwhelmed with work because of layoffs occurring. Do not go to Hr on your boss because although they say its confidential its not. Hr is there for management not anyone else. Even if you are being mistreated. It is hard to get out of the intermodal department. I tried 8 times in my time and because I didnt have a AA degree I wasn't considered. Yet I have more experience in transportation than some of the UNF interns they bring in.
