Pros

Not many come to mind. Salary and benefits were mediocre, very negative experience all around, would NOT recommend this company to anyone.

Cons

Completely dysfunctional internal systems, antiquated computer systems, difficult to navigate internal red tape. Management very out of touch from field, conflicting directions from different departments.

Pros

The insurance and benefits are very good especially when you reach your deductible . Most coworkers are friendly but that's the same anywhere . Safe environment.

Cons

Unless you are related to the people in HR it is very difficult to get hired on or to transfer to another area. If you hear HR person has a family member getting married, you can guarantee the new spouse will be hired! VERY STRONG ATMOSPHERE OF NEPOTISM.

Great Small-Town Company with Big-Town Appeal

Pros

Crown is a family-owned company that values employees, development, design, and community. Crown offers many jobs and opportunities that aren't available in other small towns. They believe in vertical integration in their products and in their people instead of outsourcing. There are opportunities locally and abroad.

Cons

Nepotism can be a bit strong. Someone is always related to someone else in this company, though that isn't always a bad thing. Salaries in many departments are well-below market value, benefits are only average for manufacturing. The business in conservative in work-life balance with very structured hours and dress codes that don't fit in today's world.
