-Employee handbook does not allow for hiring relatives but executive levels are pretty much all related to each other in some way lol. -Very little communication, as a manager don’t expect any hand holding it’s all sink or swim. -Empty promises when it comes to job security, they will send their legionnaire leprechaun to tell you you’re out of a job without rhyme or reason. -if you’re a manager at cruise don’t expect to have any kind of work life balance according to upper management. They really lay it on thick about how much they love coming to work (questionable because for customers to get a title it took far longer than it should have because management could only climb down from the ivory tower every so often to sign off) so that you feel bad if you don’t. Expect 6 day work weeks. -Corp super stingy about seasonal workers. Business increases don’t matter, expect to run the location with how many employees they ran it with 20 years ago. I personally just got temp help when needed because I was hired to manage so forget becoming a cleaner.
