Pros

Teamwork, the work was steady, flexibility.

Cons

Most US & UK jobs are being offshored to India. They aren't even laying off the poorest performers. Cubic is axing top notch employees that cared for what they did and those that made an impact. Prior to layoffs they stripped all incentives and benefit cost significantly increased.

Interesting and meaningful work. Some freedom to make sound technical decisions as long a properly researched.

Cons

Management makes decisions based on short-term profit goals. Emphasis on using offshore work force with questionable skills and then not providing proper time or personnel to manage/train them.

- 9/80 work schedule - Engineers from all disciplines are great to work with - Breakfast & lunch onsite - Nice campus (charging stations, quad area for socializing, basketball court that can be used for pickeball and soccer too, modern buildings/cubicles, lots of parking)

Cons

- Beware of Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other higher-ups - Toxic culture at times - Unstable company as the majority of profit hangs on one/at most two projects - Can lay you off any time, regardless of loyalty - Very little merit each year and sometimes even no merit
