Pros

The people in this industry are some of the best people I have ever worked for and with. They all take pride in their work and come eager to contribute daily to the goal of helping feed the world. The decentralized nature of this organization allows everyone to be a contributor and make a difference every day. If you are mobile and can re-locate then this makes you highly valuable to upward mobility.

Cons

There have been limits to the career ladder when working in the smaller decentralized organization, but efforts are being made to allow growth across divisions.

Pros

The people here are great. I really enjoy interacting with my co-workers. Also, my manager is great and hands-on but doesn't micromanage. The management overall is great. They always make you feel part of the team. The work culture is amazing. Everyone here is nice and don't take themselves too seriously. It's refreshing to work in an environment like that. Also, the work/life balance is amazing!

Cons

Lack of upward mobility. The company is not very large, so the upward mobility is very limited. I also wish they promote more career development opportunities for all professions. Need a solid employer branding. It's great to work here, so the company should convey that to job searchers.
