      Pros

      Focus on treatment of each other at work which provides a positive work environment. Decent salary. Good amount of trainings. Really helpful colleagues and good higher management. Overall a good working experience.!!!

      Cons

      Should provide more flexibility in the work area and provide more diverse technical trainings to employees so that employees can switch their work area as and when there are new openings in their areas of interest.

      Great people, good learning opportunities, great work life balance, ethical company, open culture, supportive bosses, work from home option available, awesome office in Balewadi

      Slow decision-making, incompetent HR, salaries below industry standards, poor payscale for MBAs, peer group not so good, only hires from tier-2 B-schools

      Pros

      Good support and great staff. I've learned and continue to learn a lot. Pace of work is steady and flexible working hours is appreciated across the site. Cummins have the best community presence and cultural integration of any company I have seen or worked for - a major company strength.

      Cons

      In the technical side of the business, career progression isn't overly visible. A common belief is to progress you are better pursuing more commercial roles - something I feel our particular BU has suffered. This sentiment has been expressed and acknowledged by local Senior Management, will be interesting to see if any developments are made. In times of hardship, Cummins have been known to swiftly wield the axe. I also consider the company's R&D structure to be under funded and not world leading as once the case.
