Pros
Cummins has some of the best HR practices that are just not tehre on paper but are practiced in letter and spirit; like job rotation, focus on diversity, focus on excellence and so on. There are huge number of opportunities to work with global teams.
Cons
While the India piece has all the global best practices, they have not been able to acquire a truly diverse culture. They also have not been able to shake off the legacy of the erstwhile Indian partner, due to this, a regionally diverse culture has not emerged. Cummins is a shy company and does not talk about the great work it does.
