Great way for transitioning educators to gain Corporate America experience and gain more revenue-generating skills. Benefits are fantastic.

Cons

If you join as a professional development specialist or consultant you WILL BE overworked. This department is highly toxic so enter at your own risk. Should you decide to enter, use this role to gain experience for a year or two and then go somewhere else. If you stay, you are pigeon-holed in this department and will eventually burnout from the workload. This is a high-pressure, highly visible role so be prepared to cater to the whims and desires of your sales rep. Other large competitors also have better bonuses in this department. Just so you know many of these reviews are paid and likely from HR, so if you really want to know how it is connect with and direct message current and/or former employees on LinkedIn.

I loved my time with Curriculum Associates working as an intern over the summer. I was able to meet and network with various people as well as gain more insight on what it's like working at an Edtech company! Everyone is super welcoming to questions and you feel like your work is valued.

Cons

Sometimes there will be days that work can be repetitive.
