Pros

When you start working at a new company it can be difficult to adjust and know how you are doing. At my previous job I almost never met with my manager to get feedback but at CA I've got a great schedule worked out to meet every couple weeks. Not only do I get feedback from my manager but other managers have given me feedback as well. So far I've found this to be really great in helping me figure out where I'm at. The company is growing fast and it looks like there are always opportunities opening up. Some cool perks include a gym and a cafeteria with subsidized lunches, though they are a bit small and the options are limited. Rob Waldron, the CEO, shows interests and works directly with employees at multiple levels. He really seems to love the company and gives great engaging presentations.

Cons

The company is located in Billerica which isn't the greatest place to commute to. I wish they were a bit closer to the city. There are sometimes options to work from home but I don't feel like there is a clear policy. You get some office politics and people occasionally no following policies put in place that makes our jobs easier. This ends up causing more headaches but doesn't happen that often.

Thanks for sharing this review. We have a pretty wonderful team of managers dedicated to your success at CA and are delighted you’re receiving feedback to guide your career and taking advantage of additional learning opportunities. We appreciate your feedback on variability in work from home opportunities and training plans. Departments have different dynamics due to varying responsibilities and degrees of in-person collaboration needed, so we leave it up to you and your manager to determine the best approach to remote work. We also encourage you to speak to your manager about opportunities for growth on your own team and meet with managers on other teams to learn where CA could take you. Don’t forget about our professional development content on our ECP Learning Portal. We hope you’ll check it out and thanks again for your thoughtful review ! - Shrina

Thanks for your review and for highlighting some “pros” we’re most proud of! We’ve got nearly 50 years of success behind us and a bright future ahead thanks to employees like you. You’re certainly right about our fast growth! As we shared at our recent company-wide meeting, there are a lot more exciting projects on the roadmap with supports built in to ensure we can manage to accomplish it all without straining our resources. As we add to our team, we’re focused on supporting our growth while preserving our fantastic culture. Thanks for being part of both! - Shrina
