Pros

This company is so much more than a workplace to me. Even as a remote employee, I feel deeply connected to the mission and values of CA. With the majority of employees being remote, there are so many internal initiatives created to make you feel a part of the inner team. I love it. The health insurance is the best I've ever seen - in fact doctors' offices will always look at me in disbelief when they see what my portion is. The executive leadership is phenomenal - it's clear they practice what they preach. Work-life balance and mental health is always encouraged. I've never had such supportive management in my life.

Cons

I can't think of a single con to working for CA. I was a former school admin and terrified to leave my stable position. Now I can't imagine not working here.

Pros

The people I get to work with are fantastic! I also really believe in the curriculum and what the company is proving as far as professional development for educators.

Cons

As a full time PL specialist the travel is just insane at times. I was not prepared for the level of travel. Including weekend travel and being gone for most of the week during the “busy season” which lasts for months. Also the pay is not great considering what they’re asking of you. It’s much less then I was making as a teacher and less then other Ed tech companies.

Pros

The people here are phenomenal! They inspire my work in ways that drive me to the next level. The work is rewarding professional and personally. Collaborative opportunities are everywhere, and I feel like my opinion is valued.

Cons

As any growing company, sometimes the systems in place need adjusting. The nice thing about this is that management listens to concerns and allows you to participate in the solution.
