Good company but terribly underpaid

Great coworkers Great working infrastructure Enthusiastic and engaged upper management Great entry level experience

Cons

Cvent underpays like crazy for ALL positions (since leaving my salary has basically tripled in a few years) Workload extremely high, especially considering the underpay Product isn’t particularly interesting despite being a market leader in the space Innovation needs to be higher to maintain the market share as there are a lot of competitors in the space, some that are moving much quicker Be more flexible on fully remote work for jobs that don’t functionally require being in the office

Pros

Direct manager was great no complaints.

Cons

- Do you enjoy internal meetings? If so, there are 10-15 hours per week (Out of a 45 hour work week) that are required. Best of luck hitting your goals when you're on countless internal meetings and trainings - Pay is WELL below industry standard and workload is untenable. (Mostly due to convoluted systems and processes) - They sell you on OTE which is comical. Book a multi-year, hope you enjoy $20-$40 per booking maximum. (Half after tax) - Projections are all the senior managers care about. Fine, but why include projections in Salesforce and an excel document? Double work, is glorified. - Senior management loves to hear themselves talk - Antiquated systems for a SaaS company

Low pay, lack of empathy and tedious work. Getting paid pennies compared to the amount of work that is done daily.
