      Seemed like a place with opportunity, great environment, and cared for it's people.

      Cons

      Wrong! Congratulations on your job working 40 hours (already longer than my last job) a week. Just kidding! you are now required to work 42.5 but we are not going to give you a single cent more for the longer hours.

      - Young, energetic environment; easy transition for post-grads - Rapid growth, lots of opportunity for advancement and professional development - Emerging as the dominant player in the industry, crushing the competition - Rolling-out new programs focused on employee retention, leading to better benefits

      Cons

      - Standard hours: 9:00am - 6:30pm - Entry-level salaries seem competitive, but employees with 3-4 years of experience are frequently picked-off by companies willing to pay significantly more than Cvent - Rapid growth is great, but you're often asked to do far more than the average person can handle effectively until your team is scaled appropriately; leads to some tough quarters when HR is struggling to fill demand or management hasn't recognized the issue yet.

      Great people work here, nice space in McLean. Growing fast with no signs of slowing down. Close to metro. That's about it.
