      Fast moving company struck hard by Covid

      Pros

      Great direct manager. Fun hard working team.

      Cons

      My direct manager had 0 say in my outcome with the company. I was let go 3 months into Covid. They always tell the story at every sales event that "this company, like the redwoods, survive the brush fires" (recessions)... such and such... but did not have the ability to retain the work force. So yes, the company is the RedWood tree, but the metaphor should be more like, "we chopped off the top 20 feet of the tree during the last recession"

      The culture is incredible. From holiday parties to office happy hours to team bonding activities, Cventers know how to have a good time. Leadership truly cares about your development. They want to see you succeed and will do whatever they can to help you achieve your goals.

      Cons

      - Pay is pathetic compared to industry standards - Work/life balance is terrible The reason you see these two cons repeatedly across reviews is because it's true.
