      Pros

      Personal Background: Software Engineer, joined Cyngn around 1 year ago. Pros: - Promising business story & technical goals compared with most other startups that focus on Robo Taxi - Great opportunities to work at core techs in autonomous driving. You can learn from all the teams and modules if you want. It helps quickly become the "full-stack" (both software and hardware) master in Autonomous Driving industry, which is almost impossible for me if at other companies. - A well-diversified engineering team and friendly environment - Competitive package compared with other startups (I didn't expect the option to come true at first, but it seems to have a higher change become real cash now)

      Cons

      - keeping in stealth for a long time. It really made recruiting difficult. Well, it finally came out of stealth mode recently... - Well, I don't like too much health food for lunch at Cyngn, but anyway I lost weight in return... - The codebase can be more testable

      Pros

      Small company. Small very professional and very friendly R&D group. Interesting projects. A lot of challenges. A lot of responsibilities. Free lunches :-) .

      Cons

      Generally cons are small, I do not see any major issue. Do not like the location of the current office (no parking, bad traffic). Not enough vehicles for R&D. Temporarily need to work on weekends. Little worry about last small layoff.
