Pros

Tons of flexibility in this role with a lot of insight into all labs/manufacturing facilities in your territory. Great upper management.

Cons

Currently Cytiva is pairing down sales specialists so there is a chance that you will cover larger territories for the same pay.

Pros

One of the positives of working at Cytiva is the benefits package, which is competitive and comprehensive. The company also puts effort into diversity and inclusion initiatives, and there are many talented people across the organization who are passionate about the mission.

Cons

Leadership alignment was a major challenge during my time at Cytiva. Different groups often had conflicting priorities, which slowed progress and created unnecessary friction for teams trying to execute. The “best team wins” philosophy sometimes translated into a competitive and siloed environment rather than true collaboration. It could feel cutthroat at times instead of supportive.

An OK place to work

Pros

• The “unlimited PTO” policy - although it can vary significantly depending on the manager and team culture. • There are many talented and collaborative individuals across teams, making it a positive environment to work in. • There are strong opportunities for professional growth, including access to tools, certifications, and internal mobility. As part of a large organization like Danaher Corporation, employees have the ability to explore diverse roles and career paths across the broader enterprise.

Cons

• The return-to-office mandate was implemented without sufficient space at the facility or clear consideration of which roles truly require in-person presence. Employees are expected to be onsite even when their responsibilities are fully remote in nature. • Compensation is not aligned with industry standards especially in the Boston area where cost of living is high. Additionally, internal transitions are heavily influenced by an employee’s starting salary, which can significantly limit long-term earning potential within the organization.
