Pros

Free employee lunch on Wednesday's.

Cons

No tele commuting, management needs a major over haul, too many directors live the motto it has been done this way for over 16 years!

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re disappointed to hear about your discontent. We do have high expectations for our employees, but we also aim to ensure that hard work and dedication are recognized and rewarded. We do have a formal Flexible Work Options Policy that does include consideration of working remotely. We encourage you to reach out to your manager or HR for a more in-depth conversation.

Pros

Cytokinetics is very committed to the community with ample opportunities for community service throughout the year. They are equally committed to the patient populations we are developing treatments for.

Cons

Not all areas are as collaborative as they could be.

Pros

There is nothing positive here.

Cons

very unexperienced "Senior Management" that has not experienced success for 14 years. The worker bee "A" team has all left. There is constant turnover for years for a reason - the bad "Senior Managers" are not removed. The C suite needs an over haul. This company expects you to work 24 hours a day/7 days a week no matter how many hours you have already given (over 80 weekly for over a year). The most junior biotech employees I have ever witnessed. No wonder they cant attract talent or keep it.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re disappointed that you feel this way about Cytokinetics, and hope that while you were employed with us you were able to openly discuss your concerns with your manager and the HR team. On average, it takes 12 years to bring a new medicine from lab to patient, and we take pride in our commitment to bring innovative medicines to help people with diseases of impaired muscle function.
