Pros

“Job security” if you sacrifice your soul

Cons

1) Unrealistic timelines 2) NO training 3) No direction 4) No DEI mixed with inner office racism and sexism 5) Upper management does not know how processes work 6) Toxic work environment 7) Constant/HIGH turnover 8) Lack of empathy 9) Lack of transparency 10) No upward mobility unless you are a Caucasian male 11) Heavy lack of support - high turnover forces current employees to take on several responsibilities that are not their own, I.e. do the work equivalent of 2-3 employees as opposed to 1. 12) Any input or recognition of areas for improvement is heavily discouraged and at times penalized

Pros

D.R. Horton is a great place to work with an amazing family-oriented culture in my Division.

Cons

Horton is not for the lazy - a lot of work is required to get the job done, which can make or break employees.
