Pros

This job changed my life and brought me to a new financial level. You can make a 6 figure income in commission annually without investing any of your own money to marketing or getting leads. Benefits, medical insurance, 401 K plan, opportunity to buy company's stocks with a discount, they pay your Real estate annual fees, they pay for your marketing and networking events, they reimburse all your lunches and other goodies you bring to Realtors to market them, so outside Realtors bring you leads.

Cons

it's hard. no days off. Even if you are officially off, you'll be working either from home or having showings or doing networking events that are in most cases mandatory. it's not just sitting in the model home and selling homes to walk-ins.... LOL it's a LOT of networking and marketing outside Realtors to bring you leads. Most top outside Realtors are being very loyal to particular D. R. Horton agents who've been with the company longer. Sales quotas: if you don't meet the quota, you have a couple of chances to get better and start selling more. They give you time to get used to the new position though and give you time to start selling more.

Pros

Overall commission structure for agents is good

Cons

Culture is terrible. People leave managers they say, true in many cases I know of
