Pros

Product sounds exciting. Start up environment. Opportunity to learn about many aspects of an IOT, product. High compensation.

Cons

Terrible company culture. Constant politics and back stabbing in the upper management. Most managers are focused on power games, and the employees are the last in the priority list. Long hours for engineers, I've witnessed many people who had to work nights and days with no sleep and getting sick just because of some demo. Unlimited PTO means, you cannot take any long vacations. The company is not producing anything except for demos, prototypes and headlines like " imagine one day this, image one day that", "DAQRI is revolutionizing the world of AR". It's been so many years and the company hasn't sold a single product to customers. Many layoffs in the recent years. Offices are closing. Bottom line: If you like working solo, creating prototypes and having the "start up" experience, go for it.

Pros

Decent pay, excellent benefits Many talented and passionate non-management workers Good place to learn a lot on your own, because you will not be supported by management/mentors

Cons

Management is extremely inexperienced; espouses 'guiding principles' that they themselves do not practice Leadership is poor and aimless, good at talking and fundraising but lacks the ability to bring an actual product to market Environment is extremely political; management is based around many former defense and industrial employees who get ahead by doing nothing but talking, and backstabbing their fellow employees

Pros

-Working on some of the most interesting, audacious products out there. -Everyone I work is very smart, and trying very hard. No one is mailing in their work, or just trying to skate by. -Great amenities and work-life balance: All of the contemporary startup perks (fancy cafe, abundant snacks, on-site yoga), but not an expectation to be in the office for 80 hours/week. Lots of new parents with young kids, great vacation, leave and work from home flexibility. -You will get the tools you need to do your job. Not afraid to invest in quality equipment if its justified. -Invested in their people. I've seen many situations where people changed from senior roles, and instead of being let go or forced out, were given the chance to work on new projects (and to their credit, most of these people have had good attitudes and success with these changes). -Competitive compensation

Cons

-Like any company growing so quickly, change is constant. -Lots of different (and international) locations can make cross team coordination a challenge. -Plethora of new ideas can lead to diluted efforts.
