Imagine you purchased a pre-owned Honda, the carfax looks pretty good and it has a good number of miles on it with no issues. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle you take it to a mechanic - who assesses it needs new parts. Only he doesnt like Hondas so he throws some Toyota parts in. The car runs well for a while and then starts to have issues again. You take the car to a different mechanic who only likes Subarus - and he puts in some Subaru parts. You end up with a zombified car that doesnt run particularly well, is difficult to work on, and only the parts the current mechanic (CEO) favors get priority. That is DAT in a nutshell. The management of the moment favors their own personnel, departments, and priorities. Meaning if you happen to fall into the Honda or Toyota camp - you dont get budget, location hiring flexibility, a voice, or a shot at promotion. DAT has luckily been at the conflux of right place right time, but lacks innovation, cohesion, direction, or respect for it's own employees unless you are one of the favored few.

Not innovative against competitors and they love to preach they are but numbers show otherwise. Upper management lacks competency to do their job correctly . Lack of management support. Zero training or on boarding. Very Toxic culture. Extremely unorganized.
