Solid Company, Great Teams, Interesting Problem Space

Pros

The company is growing and thriving. Plenty to do, and interesting problems to work on. Fun people to work with; chill, collegial, and empathetic. Leadership is affective, open to feedback, and responsive. Lots of different types of people in leadership. Compensation is competitive, and when people do get behind industry averages, they're caught up proactively.

Cons

Industry turnover in tech has affected DAT too, which can make some projects more dynamic than others, but plenty of flexibility up and down the org chain is helping smooth that out.

Benefits are available and reasonable.

Cons

Don't plan on moving up in this company. They'll hire from outside before they'll even consider an internal candidate. Overall you have to be in the "in" group to benefit. If you're an outsider, you'll always find yourself looking in -- your suggestions and contributions are disregarded.

-job security - smart and respectful employees - decent benefits

Cons

-CEO is a self conscious baby about people wanting to work remotely and not come back to the office. Despite productivity and revenue being at an all time high with remote work. Management seems to orbit around his needs and ego and is really starting to anger a lot of people. -Middle/Upper management is prioritized when for hiring, promotions, bonuses over the people who do the actual work.
