      Tech leader with a cool story that most might not know.

      Pros

      Fascinating work in a fascinating industry. Company is straight-up tech, and has a 43-year history. Not too many tech cos. can say that. Small company with the support of a Fortune 1000 parent. (Think agile, but with resources.) Company is the market leader and is growing. There's a real sense that my engineering skills are contributing to something important. I haven't met a nasty personality yet, which I swear has to be impossible, but it's that way so far. Nobody ever speaks about others in a bad way. It's about "let's get this done together." Almost unheard of in any company, so A+ on this, alone.

      Cons

      I'd like to see them own their tech roots a little more when it comes to the culture. The benefits here are really good, but other tech companies are a little more current with things like work flexibility and with better defining bonus plans.

      Growth, Diversity and Family

      Pros

      Your growth with the company is primarily up to you! Food trucks every week. Very diverse team. Tuition Reimbursement. Good Benefits. Great office space. Even as a temp I felt incredibly welcome. But because I showed initiative, I was noticed and able to excel with the company.

      Cons

      I am bored with the same hand full of food trucks we got every Thursday when we were physically in the office.

      DAT is a great place to learn and grow

      Pros

      I've learned a lot in a short period of time at DAT. There are a lot of knowledgable engineers that are happy to help debug issues and we get to work with new and exciting technologies. The culture here is also better than any previous company I've worked at.

      Cons

      Nothing major comes to mind, it's still a job so it has the same cons any normal job would have.
