Pros

The people here are great. In my experience managers really care about employees and are encouraging of a work-life balance. Lots of really smart people each doing their thing. Product also adds a lot of value for customers and company has a great business model, so employees can stay and grow in their careers. Office is near public transportation and lots of places to eat.

Cons

Company is transitioning from a smaller company to a larger company. Overall that's exciting, but come with some growing pains. HR seems overworked and some things fall through the cracks. Sparkling water is free, but not soda.

I have had the opportunity to change career paths more than once, which has been great. The best thing about DAT is (usually) the people. I've made a lot of good friends here. Plenty of employee perks.

Cons

Business is business. There can be some big changes from time to time, generally for the better. If you aren't willing to adapt to and work with those changes, things can get difficult.
