      A company reinventing itself, a great environment if you are a self starter

      Pros

      smart people frequently adding employee perks work from home helps (as the commute is terrible from Portland) incredibly interesting problem space

      Cons

      lack of clear objectives and management support take a toll on motivated employees who want to do good work - but don't know what direction to go as older processes and systems still exist, simple tasks are harder than they should be (timesheets, expense reports, education reimbursement, etc)

      Pros

      Great new facility with lots of perks (food trucks, lots of huddle and conference rooms, convenient location). Really good people and good process. Leadership position in the market.

      Cons

      Lack of executive team vision. Poor communication from the top. Bad senior leadership hiring decisions in the recent past. To risk averse to make big change happen.

      Pros

      DAT has a lot of great pros. They feed their people every Thursday. They have food available every day in the morning for free. The people you work with are a lot of fun. The work is fast-paced and fun.

      Cons

      Some of the downsides to working for this company is their attendance policy is very strict. If you need to use the bathroom you’ll have to use your break. DAT is NOT felon friendly. If you made a mistake in your past don’t even bother trying to work for this company. You may have a skill set that far exceeds anything they need. You may do your work to the best of your know how. But if you have something in your past forget it. They will lead you on for months and then they just abruptly fire you.
