      DBS could make a big impact with some more focus on IT strategy

      Pros

      A good solid company with the backing of a large parent company. Good, knowledgeable employees and "can do" attitude throughout the company. Some good strides are being made to support more global systems.

      Cons

      Too many silos and cost center competition has led to a number of regional and local internal and external IT solutions, often duplicating each other in functionality and not global in nature.

      Lots of overtime and average pay

      Cons

      Lots of favoritism and relatives working together, Hipolito Vega only disciplines people he doesn’t like and only looks after his family members working under him. Hipo calls in Supervisors in early so he can go have a 2 hour lunch with Geantos Trucking managers, import supervisors smoke weed and are high all day. You only get promoted if you’re liked by management.
