Pros

For the name sake and reputation, it's a solid company to add to your resume.

Cons

Tons of cons. Management is terrible. There's no support from management. It's all about get things done. Be Robotic. Not really caring about the people who help the company progress. No Organization. No room for Career Growth. You'll be stuck in the same position for years. This company does not offer much to their employees. A lot of butt kissing and even then you'll go nowhere because upper management just wants to use people. Management does not train people accordingly or have the organization or "time" to ensure training is necessary. If you make ONE mistake and it's costly, it's like you've hung yourself with them. The spirit of micromanaging should be the Alma Mater for this location. The ORD station is not a good place to retire or a great career move. IF you do work at this location it's probably best you use it as a stepping stone and find a much better company offering much more incentives and benefits to their employees. Trust me Schenker is not the best company. Period.

Pros

None. U can jeep trying and they will snake into bringing you down n keeping you there.

Cons

None. They company pays for a lunch in. And the coworkers who supposedly get reimbursed, charge everyone for lunch. Which makes it illegal. Technically that's stealing.

Pros

Coworkers now that the negative ones are gone and only after moving offices this year the building. I enjoy my actual work and occasionally feel important but it's frustrating at times. There are opportunities for overtime as long as you are willing to handle projects outside your normal duties.

Cons

Management tells you what they think you want to hear just to keep you but when faced with you actually leaving those words are quickly forgotten and all the work you did and feeling like you meant something to the company are just lies. It's amazing how much needed/needs to be fixed in accounting areas when you consider the size of the company. There is no communication between departments and when things go wrong they look at the last person that touched it. Not enough people in a department to cover someone being out so time off may be granted but you will come back to all te work that came in for you while you were off.
