Pros

The supervisors do care about their employees. They make an effort to accommodate the needs of their employees in regards to school, family, appointments, etc.

Cons

The pay is below industry standards. The communication and direction from corporate is almost non-existant.

Pros

DB Schenker has a strong Inside Sales program. This is where you will want to work if you decide to work for this company.

Cons

Lousy pay considering the territory I was working as an Account Executive. Unachievable bonuses in field sales. Some very incompetent people that should not be in the position they have. I was lied to about a position I decided to take. And when I discussed my thoughts and feelings about the role (I was lied to about) I was laid off. DB Schenker USA is a very cheap company and refuses to spend the money on necessities such as Base Salary's and necessary equipment needed to be successful. For example, I was issued an old and beat up lap top when I was promoted to Field Sales. After 3 months of dealing with IT, it was still not fully functional. How can you expect one to produce when we don't have the ability to log into the systems we need to operate on a daily basis, while working field sales. No support in Field Sales. You're left out in the field running around like a chicken with its head cut off. This company operates in a VERY UNPROFESSIONAL manner. A 35 Billion dollar company operating like a "Mom and Pap" start up. No wonder DB Schenker is losing market share to the competition. I would recommend/advise future candidates to stay away from DB Schenker as a potential employer.

Pros

Nice co-workers Workers give it their all even though they know it is not appreciated Knowledgeable employees

Cons

Management says they want feedback but never listen. It is their way or else. Employees are treated like slaves. There is no work life balance and management does not care. Complain and they will make you pay.
