5yWe are sorry to hear that one of our new employees feels that there are no opportunities for advancement and that we are complacent about our customers. DCS strives to provide opportunities for advancement to all employees. In 2020 we promoted over 15% of our employees to a higher job category. Due to the rapid growth of the company these promotions included increasing the size of our management team by 15%. We are also fortunate to support the Department of Defense in the acquisition and development of rapidly emerging technologies that support our nation’s warfighters. This allows our employee-owners to constantly learn and apply new skills.
Customer satisfaction is key metric of DCS management system. We take nothing more seriously than keeping our customers happy so that they keep us as their contractor of choice and we can provide a stable environment for our employee-owners. In spite of our history of success in this area we take no customers for granted and spend considerable energy monitoring customer satisfaction and preparing for each solicitation from our customers.
