      Pros

      The biggest determining factor of your experience will be dependent on the team you work with. The store director of that location will for sure have a strong impact on what type of dynamic the rest of the team will have so it is a bit of a lottery draw what kind of experience you have. I was lucky to be in a team that I vibed well with and have made many good lifetime friends.

      Cons

      I don't see of lot of effort from management to try to promote from within. We would get new hires that we would notice red flags in and management wouldn't be able to see it because they don't work with them in person. It's also difficult to bring these topics up as sometimes we prefer to be anonymous.

      Pros

      - An organization that prioritizes learning, and creates dedicated programs (LinkedIn Learning, Thrive, etc.) and grants for those who want to grow - Incredibly kind and open people - Fun environment, despite covid - Generous programs, including time-off, team events, and discounts - Never a dull day - fast paced, always changing, lots of opportunity for ownership

      Cons

      - Fast growth comes with high expectations and intense workloads at times - I've yet to experience the culture in person

      Pros

      One thing I cannot stop telling my friends and family about Deciem is the collaboration. This family of designers has the utmost respect and trust for employees of old and new. I felt like I have been a part of the crew for 10 years in a matter of 90 days. I feel so at home and so comfortable with being myself and expressing any desires or concerns I may have with any project. Just such a healthy environment to be a part of. I'm lucky!

      Cons

      This one is up in the air, the "onboarding" experience was a little lacking. Not saying it's such a negative against Deciem. But I felt like I was given the tools but no one taught me them. Like I said though, that's not a bad thing because it allowed me to get comfortable at my own pace!
