Pros
-Good people, colleagues are generally nice and helpful. - Office drama even with WFH. Very political. Put it in Pros section because it is interesting to watch the middle managers compete for attention, despite the fact that it gets ugly sometimes.
Cons
- Middle and higher managers seems to think it is always reasonable to make us work outside office hour and overtime for their credit. Some unnecessary meetings are held after work hours, and some are held, deliberately or not, at the end of workdays , which would often leads to overtime. We are not encouraged to ask for compensation for overtime hours. - no salary growth even with the 5% inflation rate in Toronto this year. Well yes if you are one of the favorites by the upper management, you will live happily ever after. - HR team talks bubbles, but is super hard to reach and very opaque. They communicate important things only at the very last minutes. - Employee turn over rate is high, sad to see good people leaving all the time.
