Good foundation being eroded away

Pros

Dedicated and talented co-workers who collaborate to meet goals, share a passion for excellence and the customer are the primary reason to work at Delaget. The ground level employees work very hard to meet an almost daily changing focus.

Cons

Unfocused and dysfunctional senior leadership and questionable sales practices create an untrustworthy relationship. Verbal abuse is tolerated or overlooked. Cash flow problems create an ever changing compensation structure.

Pros

Most of the people I came in contact with were so amazing and helpful! Quite a few of employees had been there for a while and really understood the product/procedures so were always willing to help. New(ish) CEO very personable and is very friendly to everyone.

Cons

Departments didn't communicate with each other. Sales didn't always fully understand what they were selling or caveats of what they could/couldn't sell. It would take countless meetings to reiterate the point until the (former) sales management team would grasp it. Halfway through my employment I was given a new manager from within my department. Didn't change the atmosphere, but I felt as though certain options (particularly being able to WFH 1 day per week which is something I negotiated in my hire) were taken away from me which was the beginning of the end for me. I didn't feel Delaget as a whole did what they could do to really make this place feel innovative enough to contend alongside other tech companies in the metro area. Great start for a fresh graduate but in terms of trying to build your professional career from Delaget, I'm afraid this may be a giant step back.

Pros

Love the company and it's values! I have worked here for years and the leadership is consistently mentoring and growing individuals. They come out on the floor and join us and ensure we are capable of doing our jobs and have all of the tools needed to do so. They have been focused on the work/life balance over the last year and offer a great benefit, holiday and PTO package. I have never worked at a place that believes so much in their people - it is a place that expects performance and if you aren't a go getter and wanting a career to grow at - then it's not for you. But like myself, I love the environment!

Cons

I love my job and think the only con would be when people join the team and are negative - we work hard to keep the environment non gossip and upbeat - negative attitudes don't last.
