      Global organization Reasonable strategy, shared openly with all employees Incentive programs (bonus, profit sharing) for employees Quality products with good brands

      Poor integration between factories & global offices Lots of changes in leadership: new president is good but has only been around a couple of years. Prior presidents didn't last long. Will J-Pod -- the new guy -- stay? Some old-timers are anti-change and need to go

      Pros

      There continue to be great opportunity for growth, depending on the position. There is a lot of exposure to upper management now so there are opportunities to shine. The flextime is fair and the overall atmosphere of the company is relatively pleasant. If you apply yourself, you will learn.

      Cons

      Even thought there is opportunity to grow, compensation is not always what it should be. Like other companies, they continue to compensate according to ones job title and not so much ones ability, which they take full advantage of, usually through unrealized savings. Unfortunately, once you are in a particular position, although getting better, it is still difficult to up the ranks.

      Hard work, long hours, plenty of overtime are there for those who want to work so it is stable employement.

      Cons

      Hard working conditions with plenty of overtime makes it hard to balance your life outside of work and family committments suffer.
