Terrible Company

Pros

Not many pros however the coworkers are friendly and hard working.

Cons

Too many to fit here but I will say what I can. The sales plan has become so aggressive that management encourages you to put in sales for member you have never met and order debit and credit cards for members who are unaware they are even receiving them. Management also has heavy racism unless you are a white person or middle eastern don't even bother to apply here. They have also adopted an extremely unethical app company (dfcu perks) it is a complete scam designed to mine our members data without there knowledge.

Pros

Gainshare in January, and if you are part time you get a supplement every six months that can be up to $1000.

Cons

Some branch managers can be rude, but I feel like you get that in any environment.

Pros

Great benefits and great people that work behind the teller line. There is a lot of potential for growth if you are able to fit within the corporate culture.

Cons

While the job is listed as a teller position that features a sales component this is not emphasized enough. You are cold calling members as they stand in front of you. You will be encouraged to do this for every member because you are "helping" them when in reality you are making money for the company. If you are not a salesman do not take this job because your priority to the company is being the first point of contact in getting a loan to the member.

We do appreciate your comments. We are continually working at providing a wide variety of benefit options for our employees based on their current needs. I also will review your comments about the sales component piece to our recruitment teams to better assist them with candidates. Chris Booher SVP of HR
