Pros

They are committed to their customers and they believe in doing the right thing by them. As with any company they must balance this desire with the reality of staying viable in the market. They offer great opportunities for advancement, great learning and training opportunities and the culture is supportive of career advancement if the employee takes responsibility for it.

Cons

They are brutal in their human resource objectives and lack empathy in some cases. The market changes constantly and to stay viable senior management chooses strategies but tends not to consult with line managers or employees who may have valuable contributions. while they are specific about expectations they are not as open as they could be to creative ways of fulfilling them

Pros

A very diverse group of employees.

Cons

A change in senior management in late 2013 led to very poor support for local terminals. Failures followed, the result wasn't increased support, it was finger pointing and harsh reactions. Stress in the local terminals is extremely high. With a business model that includes a minimum 60% temporary workforce to cut down on overhead and a margin system that is based on tenths of a cent it can be very challenging. Hours are another failure. I was forced to work my employees 40-60 hours a week, all on third shift. PT employees were limited to 25 hours to stay out of the realm of required benefits. I personally worked 50-60 hours a week and was on call 24-7. Compensation for all positions is well below comparable businesses.
