Dear colleague, We look forward to your 5-star rating. Thanks a lot for this. It is so nice to read your comment that we are "#1 Best Place to Work". The employee satisfaction of the DPDHL Group is measured by the annual employee survey. As an employer of choice it is essential for us to give all employees worldwide the opportunity once a year to give feedback on their working environment in a structured and anonymous manner, thus contributing to the continuous improvement of the direct working environment and the corporate culture. The employee survey enables us to enter into a targeted dialogue with our employee groups on site and to plan and implement improvement measures with them based on the feedback given, as well as to maintain a sustainable management of employee commitment at Group level. The resulting corporate success of the past year speaks for itself. We are united by a common culture of discipline, flexibility, and co-operation that makes us unbeatable. Your DHL Team

Pros

Benefits are pretty decent considering.

Cons

Poor management that cares very little about the people. Staff was close to 400 in 2011 now done to less than 200 if that. Will work the crap out of you then say you need to push yourself. No accountability from management or anyone in leadership. Mandatory overtime and furloughs happen often.

Dear colleague, Thank you very much for sharing your feedback with us through this review. In DHL, we strive to provide our employees with the best conditions and remuneration to make them feel valued with us. We regret that you felt that the management did not have an open ear for employees. We are always looking to improve our organization in terms of employee feedback and we invite you to make suggestions for improvement. An open and transparent discussion is important to us. Each employee should receive a remuneration that is tailored to his or her work. We are sorry that you felt your remuneration was unfair. We would be happy to talk to you again personally and learn more about your situation. Feel free to contact your human resources department and share your experiences/ suggestions for improvement with them. Now, more than ever is the time to support and take care of each other. We are here for you. Your Deutsche Post and DHL Team

Pros

They lied to me and a bunch of others about a job that was supposed to be a work from home job. Three weeks into training, the company tells us it's not a work from home job and that Insight Global lied to us. DHL called 2 different meetings about this topic and threw Insight Global under the bus big time. DHL apologized, but they are still lying to people to get them in the door saying, it's a work from home job when it's not. There were so many people breaking down crying in the restrooms, you couldn't get a toilet when you needed it. It was unbelievable had I not been there to see it. I can't believe companies operate like this! I also had an issue with a Supervisor of mine. I begged HR to help me and get involved. She ignored the many many emails I sent. I also sent out many emails to other supervisors to help me and then the HR ladys reached out to tell me to stop doing that! Unreal! Instead they called me into a meeting with the supervisor I had issues with (she approved my vacation in writing then took it away. I had a family member that had died and I really wanted to see the remaining family that I have left. -DHL nor IG cared, they just completely ignored me! ((L.P. in HR is a joke, begged her to get involved and she would not!** During orientation the HR lady said about 3 times that she was new and had no idea what she was doing. She told us nothing about our benefits or anything. This company DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, the only thing that matters is money! Shameful. They also require that you work 50-60 hour weeks, every week! ***They also shorted my paycheck twice! So watch your paychecks!**** They give you work badges to get into the building that expires in 6 mo because they know, no one will last longer than that. The people that have are all very grumpy. If you are high up in food chain you will be fine! Oh and one more thing, the company's numbers have tripled because of covid, the bonus they gave us was a $20 gift card to Kroger.

Cons

mandatory OT, clicky management, you have to kiss butt to get promoted, they promote people that are not quilified just because the hiring ppl want to work with their drinking buddies, there is HR but there isn't at the same time -they exist but won't help you or get back to you on anything)

Dear colleague, We have carefully read your detailed feedback. Your feedback helps us to find ways to improve. We are extremely sorry that you are not satisfied with your work at DHL. Especially with the fact that certain things are promised to the employees which are not correct. We expect our managers to serve as role models for employees across the Group, not only motivating them but also demonstrating how their work helps the company achieve its goals The promotion of this management style serves as a central theme across all development measures. This is not the case with the Human Resources Department at your site according to you. We take every case extremely seriously and very much regret that there has been no personal clarification with your superior in advance. All labor must be voluntary. We do not tolerate any forms of forced labor including bonded labor, indentured labor, military labor, modern forms of slavery, and any form of human trafficking. Feel free to contact your human resources department and share your experiences/ suggestions for improvement with them would not be the best solution for you. All in all, we would like to remind you that the current situation has presented us with completely new challenges and will continue to do so. We respect our employees’ right to join or not to join a trade union or employee representation of their choice, free from threat or intimidation. We recognize and respect the right to collective bargaining per applicable local law. Employees who act as representatives are neither disadvantaged nor favored in any way. Now, more than ever is the time to support and take care of each other. We are here for you. Stay safe and let us know how we can help in case you need support. Greetings Your DHL Team
