Pros

Insurance is quite affordable. 4 day work week.

Cons

A terrible place to work! Management totally incompetent. Every day begins with threats of termination. The point system is absurd. You are essentially punished for using the few days you are allowed off. HR is a joke! No “open door “ here! Disrespectful and condescending! Employees have no way to keep up with points but must rely on HR to provide a quarterly print out, which is usually inaccurate. People who have FMLA get pointed anyway. Supervisors have NO experience but are hired right out of college. Write ups for quality errors are constant, even though there is no proof that these errors occur. People who never receive write ups are now dealing with it weekly and there is no defense. There is obvious favoritism, depending on who the current supervisor is stepping out with. If you can find another job, avoid this nightmare!

Pros

Independent work environment. The day tends to go by fast. Performance reviews give chances for pay raises.

Cons

Nepotism and favoritism when it comes to discipline and promotions are a BIG problem. Managers are very aloof and dont pay attention to what the workers are doing. It is very easy to slack off and not do anything despite cameras being everywhere. If there ever is any talking to by any of the supervisors it is always done as a group meaning that the troublemakers can push responsibility onto everyone else so nothing changes. No one monitors performance or the numbers are never calculated fairly. Ive seen the slowest sorters get over 60 an hour supposedly while the hardest workers get the bare minimum of 50. Very slow pay raises. They try to cut staff as much as possible leading to crazy busy days when Ground mail gets piled up on us.

Pros

Bottom line they have good benefits...

Cons

Downsides of working at The Kohler Site in Memphis is the management is indecisive and have a lack of communication among themselves...Which tends to run off good workers..
