      Dick's Sporting Goods (Corporate) has a fast-paced environment where employees are judged based on performance and abilities. There is a good work-life balance and the corporate office works as a team to beat the competition.

      Cons

      The salary could be higher to bring it in line with the market value of most corporate employees. Many employees are willing to take a lower salary to work for such a great company.

      Pros

      good employee discount on items and equipment in the store. pretty good selection of various brands when it comes to clothes and shoes

      Cons

      You can only make one mistake when you are on cash register, they will give you a warning and you can't make another for 6 months. The 2nd mistake leads to direct termination, no ifs ands or buts about it. Not enough training for new employees. They will throw you directly to the wolves on your 2nd day.
