      DISH does appear to pay their employees well.

      Turnover is extremely high. Benefits are laughable. Employees are overworked. Toxic Environment. Everyone gossips.

      Pay starts high That’s about it

      No benefits The CEO Erik Carlson personally emailed me on my day off when there was a blizzard warning and a foot of snow why I wasn’t in the office.... I’m in an entry level position. There has been high turnover here the last 9 months because management is very gossipy, doesn’t know how my job function works, and refuses to promote unless they like you. DO NOT WORK HERE!!!

      Pros

      You learn a lot... quick. You're going to be thrown into the fire within your first 2 weeks, pulled out to attend Base Camp, then thrown right back in again. The one and only pro: you'll learn a lot... quickly. So you can go to another company and prosper there.

      Cons

      Literally everything. Management has no clue what they're doing- they're loyal to a work ethic from the dark ages. There is no appreciation for our employees and instead of providing incentives, DISH places rules that only incentivizing a quick exit. Pay is wretched and talent management is insanely sad... I would know, I was in HR. We need to control performance and retention, that means MOTIVATE people, not impose more and more rules.
