Pros

There were some great people and the managers were helpful. The pay was great and there was plenty of work to be done.

Cons

My field coach spent more time criticizing my driving than teaching me the job. The managers didn't allow him to really show me how to do it and then expected me to meet all the performance metrics that experienced technicians have to meet. Management doesn't care about getting you home at a reasonable time and you will spend 12 or more hours a day working. If you aren't out that late, you have little or no work at all.

Pros

If you are good at sales then you can possibly make good commission

Cons

You get a lot of bad calls so when you get good calls you have to really go in for the kill to close the deal, so it's very stressfull

Pros

The raises isn't too bad if you get a good yearly review. So if your there for several years your pay isn't too bad. But most persons don't last very long at all or get a good yearly review. They have the largest turn over here then any were else. The average length of employment for a Installer would be about six months maybe. I have seen so many people terminated for stupid stuff.

Cons

Too many to list here.... They treat you like a sled dog. You work as hard as you can and your pulled in many different directions while working. But they still want you to work harder and threaten to write you up if you don't do it without any overtime. I see many get terminated because of their numbers not to Dish Network standards. You have to work every Holliday if the Holliday falls on your day to work. But corperate gets off on them. This includes New Years, Easter, Momerial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Don't expect to get them off at all. Even if you want to take a PDO. There is no chance of advancment unless you know the GM personaly. Their health Insurance has a very large deductable of $2400,00 a year before they even start to pay for anything. They change your work hours and days to work to the worst ever when they want to and you have no desision in the matter. Some even have their two or three days off spread apart so you don't have two days off together. Some don't get a weekend day off at all.
