Pros
Dish has a dynamic atmosphere, is in an exciting industry, and has a very entrepreneurial spirit. Charlie and his wife founded the company and built it from the ground up and in this day and age (and especially this economy), it is nice to see them still involved. It has not been gobbled up into a huge media conglomerate either so there is plenty of room for growth.
Cons
Within the past 2 years it seems like there has been a continuous shuffling of executives and upper management. Our DNS Operations, Marketing and HR departments especially seem to have a hard time retaining good leaders. With Charlie at the helm we also suffer from low pay, stingy benefits, and a general feeling of being a commodity. It would be nice if executives could recognize the value of human capital.
