      Pros

      Great diversity resources, international platforms providing opportunities to cross-sell.

      Cons

      Complicated politics (partnership promotion, credit, new business intake) due to large size. Needs a better associate program/pipeline to match the right talents with the appropriate practice group (retention problems).

      Pros

      For those who are good at negotiating salaries, there is the appeal of a more than average paycheck. They will also promise you the world to get you to sign. Beware, if it's not in your contract, you have been duped.

      Cons

      It is the absolute worst place I have ever worked at. In my 20 year career I have never seen people treated as poorly as they are at DLA Piper.

      Big conflict shadow. Lots of lateral movement in and out.
