Pros

- Incredibly talented individuals on the design-side of staff - Ability to stick your hands in many jars; whatever you're interested in pursuing, they'll help you to do so - Hybrid schedule - Exciting extra-curriculars (Neocon, vendor outings, river tours, etc.)

Cons

- A number of direct management staff are cold, clinically-corporate (ex. little empathy for missed deadlines when my mom fell ill) - OT is unpaid if you're salaried, and you'll be regularly asked to work it. At least one night a week I'd be up until 2-3 and I always worked over the weekend.

Confusing org structure

Pros

Great colleagues, work in mid-size cities

Cons

Top-heavy org structure, run by architects without business degrees. Many decisions made to preserve profit, including questionable project work and obvious city preferences/investment strategies
