Pros

Unlike a lot of other architectural & design firms, DLR Group doesn't have senior people with big egos that dictate to junior staff. Truly a collaborative environment. Great opportunity for growing as an architect, interior designer or engineer. Multiple disciplines sitting in the same office is a great way to learn. Financially Solid. Employee owned.

Cons

It is hard to work on project types that are outside of the core sectors. Not a great balance in workloads between staff. Some people work a lot of hours while others are 9-5ers. I think this has a lot to do with the good staff that are "in demand" get put on a lot of projects.
