Pros

Once every two years you may get invited to a holiday party. Free soda and snacks. Sometimes there is pizza. They will keep you on with basic benefits with If you're a young person looking to get your feet wet, there are opportunities for you. Just no long-term stuff.

Cons

As soon as you walk in the door, DMI will attempt to make themselves appear like a modern, managed services provider that cares about its employees. This couldn't be further from the truth. If you can be a drone and do your job - you'll do fine. The problem is, the commercial division is unable to sign on clients at the same rate as they are losing them. Therefore, the sales and management team has thought of unfortunate ways to increase revenue, such as: - sell services that the team isn't prepared to provide. Shortcomings in this regard are ignored and blamed on the production / call center team. A good portion of the time, it seems like the sales team is completely detached from what the company is prepared to handle which creates pretty uncomfortable situations with customers. - go through constant cycles of layoffs. Instead of balancing the books, DMI will axe a number of people to put the budget in the green. This happened 3 times in my two years of working there, where upwards of 10+ people get let go. The rest of the work force is expected to pick up the extra work usually, or they will hire temps. - nasty office culture. Sure some of them like to have fun and keep it light hearted, but the fact is that there is overwhelming favoritism and nepotism taking place. If you're the type of person that can keep their head down, shut up, and do your work - you will do fine. They do not like people who express independent opinions that deviate from the norm. They also do not like you reacting to any behavior which you may find inappropriate. In order to move up, you will be expected to be a drone and a yes man for a *long* time before you are considered for a serious position (extra points for you if you have family ties in the company! they love that) Lastly, as I mentioned in my title - this page is full of reviews that scream fake! I urge you to look and see for yourself: They are trying to bury the actual reviews with ones that have one sentence written with things like "great insurance, 5 stars!". It speaks volumes about their their business ethic, trust me.

Don't Do It!

Pros

There's still a few good, hard working employees/managers that I had the pleasure working with.

Cons

Don't waste your time. DMI is considered a "Pit Stop" (a place to work for a few months while you find the right job for you) . I saw people leaving and being laid off left and right and unfortunately it was a constant. This company has no regards for its employees and the structure of their processes are not consistent.

Inconsistent and Unreliable

Pros

You can submit your colleagues for company recognition. They know how to party.

Cons

Management does not demonstrate that it values or respects employees. Communication is one-way and highly paternalistic. New hires are poorly qualified and require extensive hand-holding.
