Pros
The people at Donan are positive and encouraging to work with. They have really invested heavily recently in technology to make Donan more efficient and a leader in the field. I work independently, and as long as I get my work done with quality and in a timely manner, no one really bothers me. The culture here is 1,000 times better than the fire department I retired from.
Cons
You must be an independent worker and a trouble shooter, both with technology and computers. However, help is only a phone call away and everyone at Donan is ready to help those of us in the field. There is a great deal of driving (about 3k per month), but you are getting paid for doing it, so it's not so bad. I occasionally have to travel out of my assigned area, maybe once every three months. The glitches with the new technology is sometime frustrating.
