Good place to work at (But Also Will Blind You If Your Performance in First Week is Low or Up to Company Standard)
Pros
- Good folks to work with it - Work is decent and enough to keep you on your toes - Had a friend recommend it and it is rare for it to happen so take that chance - Learn things fast and will be beneficial for other companies - Pay is good (don't expect a raise though) - Usually don't work on the weekends (rare times but needed)
Cons
- Team Leader/Management(s) will make you feel at home, however, take caution when they say/do certain things, as they're watching your watching/observing everything you do on the daily basis - Other employees will train you and if you're not up for fast-paced working/ "attention to detail" person, this position isn't for you or anyone else looking to work here - Carefully read every piece of the item(s) whether you are in auditing, picking, or packager or folks in the offices will notify the management when an incorrect thing happens and will send it back to them [emphasis on "Attention to Detail"] and to you, will be held accountable for it and will cost the company (also will lower your performance but every job does this so nothing new LOL) - Working with other folks does seem a bit down or hostile at times but nothing to sneeze, just make sure you are in a good head and day or it'll eat you up at the end of the day - OT for temporary workers is exhausting and stressful at times. Folks who leave before the building close will usually leave their work area in disarray or mess at times so you will have to clean it up yourself (tip: if you leave early, clean your area and make sure to have 10-15 min) - Speak up. Lean in and listen to what the employee(s) have strengths and weaknesses on, don't hide the performance and the meeter of the company standards, often times listen to the employee on what they can improve on will go a longer mile than when starting - Management can be a bit cranky/angry at times when something goes wrong (don't let this repeat a lot or you'll get the boot faster than anyone else working longer than 2-3 years. Listen and observe in detail what went wrong and apply that to do it better next time and to not repeat it again) - If you see this, be extremely careful with International/2BIN order(s), not doing so will cost the DP and company a huge headache and will fall onto you. - Advancement for full-time employees can take a long time and shouldn't have to be that long regardless of whatever position or hours they've put in And to drop it in here, was only hired for three weeks and got the boot on a Monday early in the morning, but companies have the right to boot you out in the first 30-90 days but this alone needs to change and allow new hires to learn and get the ropes of the company at a pace where they can learn. TLDR: DON'T BE SWINDLE IN their go-happy attitude at times, be skeptical and ask hard/odd questions when working as a new hiree
