Decent equipment. Decent benefits. Decent warehouse. Can make money running step deck trail as owner operator!
Cons
Way too many chiefs & not enough indians! As a local driver running the air port , you will be jerked around between slick managers & most don't know what trucking is about & some don't care! Export management stinks but the guys of the forklifts are cool! Import management is cool & won't play games & way less headache running import freight. Too many safety meetings that don't accomplish anything but set your day back. If you apply for driving job, don't play yourself cheap & bid high because the management in Texas will try to low ball you! Watch your back & don't trust all smiles. CYA!
