Pros

Nice office with great amenities, good colleagues

Cons

Top management have no idea how to direct software strategies and no direction on what they want for the company. Requirements are constantly changing and they constantly override staff expertise when it comes to build/implementation approach.

Pros

1. A nice office 2. Colleagues are nice to work with

Cons

1. A place plagued by significant backlogs persisting from est months and months back, casting doubt on the validity of their top ranking. 2. The management's inaction and lack of OWNERSHIP (not dictatorship) towards resolving these backlogs raises concerns, reflecting poorly on their work ethic, managing capabilities, and priorities. Despite the pressing issues, management seems more focused on trivial matters rather than resolving core operational challenges. 3. The environment fosters a culture where responsibilities (due to their own mismanagement) are frequently shifted onto individuals solely, leaving them to drown and die alone whereas management seem to sit on the fence and not stepping up to fill the shoes as needed. 4. Overtime until nearly midnight is a commonplace here, with no visible effort from management to address or change this detrimental practice. Such prolonged hours only equates to one thing in most workplaces: unproductivity, but are "celebrated" here somehow. While occasional overtime may be necessary, the prevalence of late nights is alarming. 5. The lack of guidance from management and disconnected leadership is evident. Management lack vision and seem clueless when confronted with queries. Certain KPIs set in place here are unnecessary and hastily implemented, indicating a lack in innovative strategies from management. 6. Despite employees consistently meeting and exceeding KPIs to assist in clearing the lingering backlogs, there remains a perpetual sense of dissatisfaction from management, which is disheartening. Management should reevaluate their priorities, approach and employee well-being. Why the resistance towards employees aiding YOU in the workload clearance? Some are lacking the necessary people skills and boundaries, and it is not rocket science to figure out why employees may be unmotivated and closed off. 7. Some employees are requested to volunteer their personal laptops for work because apparently work laptop is not a thing here for everyone but yet they are big in data protection. The irony. The extraordinary office is a distraction and all the skeletons are slipped and hidden under the rug.
