      Very collaborative work environment, team atmosphere. Lot's of autonomy at this level and tons of coaching help cross functionally to ensure success.

      Pros

      Good compensation packages including bonus along with competitive benefits, which includes 401K and medical, dental, vision optical and tuition reimbursement.

      Cons

      Career advancement is limited due to lack of promotion from within the organization depending upon the business unit. Work life balance needs improvement due to lack of resources. Employee morale is low. Employees are afraid to speak freely about concerns.

      Pros

      Competitive salary and good benefits package. Opportunity to work OT. Get feet wet pretty quick and take ownership of projects. Overall good work/life balance.

      Cons

      Internal departments and workgroups do not always well together cohesively with each other Work structure varies across business units (high for fossil generation, medium for Edison-electric, low for MichCon-gas) and this is also reflected in pay distribution. Internal customer's needs not always heard or met by management.
